April 16, 201214 yr Hi, I am currently in college but with summer approaching I plan on going to multiple games in the near future. I was wondering if anyone had any reccomendations on what sections are the best bang for the buck. Like I said I wouldn't want to spend too much because I am a college student and driving 4 hours to see a game already, but I am also a diehard fan so I would like to have decent seats as well.
April 16, 201214 yr There are really no bad seats. You can just get an inexpensive seat ($15-20) and then go down to the promenade level (which runs 360 degrees arounf the whole field) - there you can watch the game from the perspective of a $50 ticket. Granted, you will have to stand, but it's well worth it, plus the concessions are right there.

April 16, 201214 yr I've walked around the ball park a few times, and sat at three different sections, and honestly, I don't think there's a bad seat in the house.

Get a upper deck behind 1B seat, and just walk around the park the whole game. You wont miss anything that way, and you don't have to feel bad about spending money in a seat and not sitting in it.
April 16, 201214 yr You can do like I do buy high and sit low, I mistakenly ended up in the club level seats during the Yankees series, but had seats in the upper deck. My plan before that was to do what was already suggested and walk around the stadium.
April 17, 201214 yr Not a bad seat in the house but something worth noting is that the cheaper seats are smaller than more expensive seats. I like sitting upper deck in the home run porch or Lexus level because theres a substantially smaller crowd. And a nice breeze
