May 15, 201214 yr Hey all, JJ will be at a meet n greet type thing at celebrity sports in the town center mall in boca raton on June 9th I believe. More details to come
May 15, 201214 yr Ah Town Center. My old stomping grounds as a wee lad. I haven't heard of that place in years. I remember getting Cabrera's autograph there as a kid during his rookie year. Oh Danny Boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling...
May 15, 201214 yr $39 for an autograph? I can't say I'll pass fast enough. I've got better things to spend $39 on. Still, I hope the guy pitches a perfect game tonite and makes the HOF many years from now.. I'm still not sure that $39 would turn out to be a good long-term investment even if the best happens.
May 16, 201214 yr I mean if the money is going towards a great cause it might be worth it, but if this money is just profit, than it's a ridiculous move on the Fishes part. I use to get autographs free when I lived in Miami @ Gate A in Dolphins Stadium/Pro Player.
May 17, 201214 yr That's pretty crazy considering JJ is one of the better signers at the ballpark and has made several free promotional appearances over the years. Note, this is the cost the memorabilia shop is charging, not JJ or the Marlins.
May 17, 201214 yr f*** that. I only pay for Kotsay. And Hayes...Hamilton....Petersen...Uggla...yea I said it, Uggla. Stanton. Oh but I'm paying in monopoly money, also known as Canadian money.
May 19, 201214 yr Not just $39 for an autograph. $39 for an autograph from a guy who currently has a 5.36 era. Imagine how much they'd charge for Zambrano or Anibal.
