Only 1 strikeout for Fernandez??!! I heard weather was a big factor in this game... Man, if Ozuna can start showing better average, he could be an intriguing prospect & Yelich is Yelich...

If he starts showing better average, do we make Yelich the CF and Ozuna the LF?

An outfield of Ozuna - Yelich - Stanton in 2014/2015? :o

Be a pretty good core with a mix of veterans and youngins then, with Cox at 3rd, Reyes at SS, maybe Boni at 2nd still, and Morrison or maybe Canha at first by then. If Canha can get the power back up, that is.

With Brantly catching and Realmuto backing him up!

ozuna has the better arm and comparable speed. hed probably play center. but that would be a (potentially) great outfield..

its also nice to see that after wiining a championship with greensboro, the same group moves up and plays for one in jupiter...and then the new grasshoppers are in the playoffs.

Tough extra innings loss last night for the Hammerheads, as of noon its been raining off and on in the area since early this morning, today could be a rain out. The Hammerheads have TBD as pitching today, Lakeland has Fernandez, either way I'm sure he'll throw during the series. A rain out could help rest the bullpen, I'll update from the satdium later.

A great game today by the Hammerheads! Yelich had a big two out single in the 7th to give the Marlins the lead, this after fouling off at least 5 pitches with two strikes. Realmuto sealed the game with a solo shot in the the top of the 9th. Fernandez was his solid in his usual five innings, giving up two hits, striking out four, walking two. I had him throwing 70 pitches with 41 for strikes, topping out at 96mph. Great job all around by the bullpen too, Raudel Lazo was especially effective in his two inning stint, considering he threw 1.2 innings on Saturday. Its my understanding Adam Conley will be on the mound tomorrow for Jupiter.

I was actually at the game last night [saturday] - Marcell Ozuna came about a foot away from hitting a walkoff homer to center in the 9th inning when the Heads were down 7-6. So close!

Yelich scored from 2nd on an infield single by JT Realmuto to tie it in the 9th. Was good stuff.

Left after the 11th, found they went 15 and lost. A lot of entertainment, though, I loved it. Back and forth game, great stretches of pitching within the bullpens, etc.

Also, whoever was in right field for the Flying Tigers last night has a CANNON. From the wall to third base on the fly on Ryan Fisher's 2 RBI triple.
