9/6 Post Game

Solid offensively and josh was good as well.

lowest attended game of the year at 18,707. First game under 22,000 I believe.

I really hope this is not a precursor to next year. This should be a sign that we really need to turn this around in 2013 if were gonna get fans in the park.

It was a weekday matinee with kids back in school and most people at work.

No way there was 18,000 there though. I'd say less than 10k easily.

And yet at the start of the season Samson said he didn't care if Broward and PBC fans only come to 5 games a year. They are going for the South Dade fans and biz crowd.

That's going to come back to bite him starting next year.

Seems like Sun-life was not the problem. if you have a winning team, people would come to see you play any where.

I still think that attendance was a disappointment at the beginning of the season when the park was new and the team was decent (May).

If the team didn't suck and get blown up in the following months, attendance over the course of the full season would certainly have been better, but I think that figure still would have been a letdown under the circumstances.
