Final chance to guess the Opening Day Attendance.....

Featured Replies

I wonder if they officially do sell out if they will sell standing room only tix like they did last year. I don't see why they wouldn't. In that case, announced attendance could be over capacity.

Who is throwing out the 1st pitch ? They are even debating this on one of the morning shows on local radio.....and this is the flagship station, and even the Marlins didn't let them know. I am guessing its not anyone special (even though opening day it should be).

My guess it's NOT Loria.

I also wonder what his profile is there tonight. If he's nearly invisible it surely is an admission he is embarrassed about what he's doing, because if there is one thing we know about Loria, he doesn't shy away from a camera if the spotlight is on him.

Yeah, but he might be "looking" into the dugout.

Oh, the horror.

fwiw MLB At-Bat says 34.439 and "4th largest crowd in stadium's history"...

:laughpurple yeah right

Yeah, right...

Every time they show a glimpse of the upper deck, it looked about 50-60% full. The lower looked about 75% on tv. Granted, it would be a very difficult thing to do accurately, but from the looks on tv, I'd say there were about 23k.

Looked pretty full to me

It wasn't. There were empty seats everywhere, especially in the upper decks and in club level. Lower bowl was pretty full. That's about it.
