May 8, 201311 yr Even though it has only been 63 ABs (across 14 games) I'm happy to see Yelich hitting 333 and OPSing at 1.017 after his 5-6 night. As for the Marlins... another day, another meh loss.

May 8, 201311 yr CC fielded at 2nd base near end of game. Is it temporary or permanent?  I like Cogz as a person. He seems like a good guy. But his defense will be horrendous and his offense production not much better.  Maybe if the FO gives him a chance to start at second, it will finally be that "last chance".  You know what? This season is only watchable when new things are being tried. So with that in mind, why not give Coghlan a shot at 2nd? Honestly, what's the worst that could happen? Production from 2nd base has been miserable so far this year anyhow. Nick Green can man the bag if Coghlan doesn't perform. Plus bringing up Dietrich requires a subsequent 40-man roster move.

May 8, 201311 yr Yelich had 5 hits on the night.  And, after that was announced, Hutton said something like "Considering the way things have been going, they may as well bring him up..." I suspect that almost everyone agrees, MLB-clock time and "rushing" of the kids notwithstanding. Bring 'em all on.
