How about we see what Flynn can do before we trade away a potential core player?

Other than the fact that Alvarez pitches to the park, I don't think it is fair to assume he is going to be a better major league pitcher than flynn.

You haven't even seen Flynn play in the major leagues.

So? I have a good amount of data to predict how he should do in the majors. Also a good amount of data suggesting how Alvarez will do, as well as data showing how he did. At the very least I think flynn is more polished.

Suns going for the second half title today in Labor Day afternoon game against Mississippi Braves. Win and they're in the playoffs, lose and they're probably out. Taking my daughter to the game, free ice cream for her. For me, chance to see Nicolino and see how he performs under "playoff pressure" .

If Mobile loses today the Suns get in, of course its always better to win your way in, Lets get this done Nicolino

Massive fail for Nicolino, couldn't make it out of the 4th inning, tatooed for 5 runs, an avalanche of smoking line drive hits to left, center and right, 9 in total. Suns lost in 11.

ugh, well now I don't feel as bad that I didn't make it today. Did you all get rained on?

Five minute sun shower in the 6th inning caused a 45 minute delay. Even as they began rolling out the tarp, the rain has stopped and the sunshine had already broken out. Umpire crew must have come from Idaho, never heard of a Florida sun shower. Game never should have been stopped.

Nicolino pitching the way he did was a real downer. Was really hit hard. I see him back here in Jax next year, needs to show consistency here before any move up.

Hope Flynn pitches well with the big club this month, as he and Heaney have the better chance of cracking the rotation next yr .
