July 21, 201313 yr I'll wait 'til Barnes is in Jax. A lot of good numbers shrink when they hit AA. They seem to shrink going from Greensboro to Jupiter, too. Power numbers, at any rate.
July 21, 201313 yr They must have smaller parks in the South Atlantic League looking at the power numbers of several players through the years some of the great Marlins minor leaguers like Brad McCann (yeah Brian's older brother) hit 28 there in 2005, Matt Dominguez, Brett Carroll, Jai Miller and Scott Cousins all put up double digits in HR's there too. Also not that any park could hold him but Giancarlo hit 39 in Greensboro too! While almost all Florida State League parks are all built to hold MLB players so for the most part so they're pretty big.

July 22, 201313 yr He didn't play a game until April 28th and then he had 3 games with Jupiter being coming up to Jax on May 1st. I'm not surprised he had such an iffy May especially after a broken bone in his left hand. Really interested in seeing his AA numbers by the end of August.
