April 4, 201412 yr Besides the obvious, is there anyone else from the 2013 draft class to keep an eye on?
April 4, 201412 yr Besides the obvious, is there anyone else from the 2013 draft class to keep an eye on? Josh Easley. 23rd round, relief pitcher, put up some ridiculous numbers over three levels last year.
April 4, 201412 yr Josh Easley. 23rd round, relief pitcher, put up some ridiculous numbers over three levels last year. you aint kidding. What's his deal? Looks like he missed the 2012 season due to injury
April 5, 201412 yr I was almost excited about Felix Munoz prospects at First base, but he is a 21 y/o 4th year minor leaguer in Low A ball...Nothing to see here
April 5, 201412 yr On a different note, Rule 5 draftee, Justin Bour may just be the big, slugging ,RBI producing 1st Baseman the Marlins have been looking for quite some time. If he shows he can keep his Ks down he will be a post-all star game call up for sure. He was buried in the Cubs minor leagues for too long, At the age of 25 he is now just seeing triple A pitching for the first time. In other organizations he would been called up after getting 110 RBI in 2012 (Well at least gotten a promotion). However due to the Cubs organizational depth he was made to repeat Double A ball and last year was a disaster for him, he got injured but was however able to reduce his K rate last season. I really feel this guy's bat is for real... Keep an eye out for him
