May 15, 201412 yr You want to see our prospects go 0-for-5? Right, b/c Brent Went 2-3 with 2 BB and 2 runs scored. Has been OBPing around .400 in A, A+, and AA. Has great BB/K.
May 15, 201412 yr Right, b/c Brent Went 2-3 with 2 BB and 2 runs scored. Has been OBPing around .400 in A, A+, and AA. Has great BB/K. Then why does it say 0-5?
May 15, 201412 yr From 5-14-2014 game, I meant. Bottom line, the Marlins need to find a way to get him on the roster next season (assuming he keeps it up).
May 15, 201412 yr From 5-14-2014 game, I meant. Bottom line, the Marlins need to find a way to get him on the roster next season (assuming he keeps it up). He'd be a fourth outfielder at best on this team, which is OK with me!
May 15, 201412 yr Moran will be on base exactly once per game. Man is as consistent as they come. Sent from my SM-N900T using Tapatalk
May 15, 201412 yr Today was Moran's first real "good" game in quite a while. 2-4 with 2 doubles. First game I can remember where he's had multiple XBH's in a game. Colin Moran is incredibly consistent when it comes to getting a hit a game, but he has shown little power and is barely having an impact on the game's he plays. I'm still a fan of Moran, but the biggest concern when drafting him was whether he would develop the kind of power to become a viable starting 3rd baseman at the major league level. He hasn't done much to alleviate those concerns both in Greensboro and at Jupiter so far.
May 15, 201412 yr He'd be a fourth outfielder at best on this team, which is OK with me! Given Ozuna's inconsistent hitting ability and Marisnick doing awful in AAA after a terrible month in the majors, all Keys needs is a HUGE breakout season this year and he could potentially make the roster during September call ups. I'm a fan of Keys given that I always loves guys who can get on base, but this is the season for him to make it or break it. Otherwise he'll be stuck in that limbo between the minors and fourth outfielder for a long time.

Even if he is only hitting 15 HR's a year that leaves another huge hole in the lineup for an actual second power hitter behind Stanton. We could really use a power hitting 1B
