SilverBullet
What's the roster at big L? 38 remaining. Capps was the only one here with even a slight chance of making the roster. The next few cuts should be impactful ones.

pollythewog
Hopefully I'll be eating crow for saying this, but this experiment with Aaron is going to be a disaster. He is not very good.

SilverBullet
11 more cuts to be made. This is the interesting time of camp for fans yet so potentially uncomfortable for the players.

There are 37 in camp! I hope you're not a Math teacher Considering Jose Fernandez is opening the year on the Disabled List, the Marlins are taking 26 players to Opening Day... 37 - 26 = 11 I hope you don't teach anyone anything, let alone math. Hammerhead
That LoMo trade is looking so good right now. He's hitting ,333 (13/39)/.350/.564 with four doubles, a triple, a homer and 4 RBIs this spring for those other Ms.

Hech and Solano only count as half a player each, so it's actually twelve.

If we don't trade McKirahan and he doesn't make the team, he gets put on waivers where someone will surely claim him for nothing. So yeah, makes more sense to trade Hand and see what McKirahan can do. Plus Hand sucks.
dim
That LoMo trade is looking so good right now. He's hitting ,333 (13/39)/.350/.564 with four doubles, a triple, a homer and 4 RBIs this spring for those other Ms. He was a below replacement level player for three straight seasons with us. It's actually amazing we got anything of real value for him at that point. Morrison is without a doubt a guy who needed a change of scenery. Still think we should have waited him out another season rather than give him up for a 23-year-old with a 5.04 ERA in the majors. But whatever. It's done.
