I'm not a huge "oh my gourd I can't believable we let him go" guy, but wouldn't he deserve a 40-man spot over nothings like Solano and Rienzo? I'm not sure how anyone could call Solano a "nothing." He's done everything we've asked. I must be new. He's a terrible baserunner, a terrible hitter, and only a slightly above average defender. Unless we asked him to "be really bad and make everyone believe they have a chance to collect a Major League paycheck", I don't think he's done anything we've asked. Also, welcome to the boards! You'll quickly learn that there is quite a schism here regarding guys like Hech and Solano, but I think we can all agree that Salty sucks, so thank you Jarrod Saltalamacchia for bringing the MarlinsBaseballDotCom Forums together as one.
