why is capps pitching?

Houston needs pitching. Maybe there's a deal to be made with them.

Because he only threw two pitches last inning.  That would be my guess.

why is he in to begin with is more my question

seems like a nice spot to get cishek some work

Houston isnt in any huge hurry to acquire an arm.  A Haren type would be what they would be looking for though.  Jennings/Hill/Samson/Loria/whomever is actually running the club from that side should call up Luhnow (or whatever Cardinal staffers are hacking the line) and try to make a deal.

Still only a two run game. I don't mind it.  But I get your point.  We can't use him everyday.

Eh, he hasn't had a ton of work lately.

They are off tomorrow, this isnt really that bad a move by Jennings this time.

that slider gets me so hard

That slider is so filthy that it's unfair to hitters.  Especially when you have to worry about that 100 MPH fastball.

Kinda tanked his k rate with only 1 k in 1.1 ip. Should have thrown a slider to greinke; would have had an easy k

yeah but get cishek in there and up his trade value

lookin @ the Josh Beckett day pictures on the Marlins facebook page. Beckett looks like Doug Benson nowadays. smoq kweed

gonna take a lot more than 1 good outing, tbh.

It's hard to have a more pathetic offense than this team right now.

And it's just not acceptable to have Mathis on this team anymore.

He doesn't bring nearly enough to the team to justify having an automatic out bat before the pitcher.

Ya but what else are they going to do?

Call up J. Solano?

we today cannot  get any run back same shit

literally anybody else but those two. Anybody.

Might as well call up Jesus Flores then.

Vinny Rottino is the only other option and he is probably worse than Mathis.

Let's see how easy we can make this on Jansen.

Good to see Yelich come alive.

The Hech hitting third experiment needs to end.  Yelich should be hitting third.

That's all she rode.  Later!
