Terry Collins is an idiot

How about first pitch thrown is behind grandersons back? After that, let the mets do whatever and suffer the consequences.

I'm guessing the umps will issue warnings at the lineup card exchange so it'd probably result in Conley being tossed.

Tempted to root for the Nats against us this week, I want an epic Mets collapse. The last three games for Nats are at Citi Field

was thinking same thing...marlins win tonight...fish get swept and then landslide begins

Exactly why I think it was strategic move by Collins to keep everyone calm

Anyone else loving how Admin is using this minor incident to pretend like he isn't a Mets fan at heart?

Jokes aside, are we ok with the pitch thrown behind Koehler's back last night? Intentional or not, Koehler did hit their hottest hitter on the hip with a fastball... it wasn't an errant slider at the feet. Cespedes' reaction wasn't necessary but the Mets can't be 100% convinced Koehler wasn't trying to peg him. I don't think Koeher meant it but I'm thinking the one pitch from that reliever was a receipt and should have been the end of this... and I was ok with that as one of those stupid unwritten baseball rules. We've seen other teams give receipts for smaller incidents than this one.

No I was not ok with what the Mets did and now that they want to do even more? They can go to hell.

I didn't know Bundy did that

He didn't... but if you throw the words King Kong in a wrestling related sentence, the wrestling nerd inside of me automatically pictures Bundy.

Didn't wanna start a new topic for this but my Miguel Olivo reference had me remembering his dispute with the team in 2013... I looked it up just to refresh my memory and I eventually stumbled upon the 2013 roster and holy shit wow... I can't believe that was only 2 seasons ago but... Miguel Olivo, Koyie Hill, Kyle Skipworth, Nick Green, Casey Kotchman, Joe Mahoney, Placido Polanco, Chris Valaika, Matt Diaz, Jordan Brown, Steve Ames, Duane Below, Wade LeBlanc, John Maine, Edgar OImos, Zach Phillips, Kevin Slowey, and Jon Rauch.

Just wow.

That's a whole lot of "how the hell did these guys make the team?"

I bet DD could kick some serious ass too

I was thinking that yesterday. Dude looks like he could wail on someone to within an inch of their life and not even feel bad about it.

The other Solano storming onto the field while not even being on the roster would be amazing

Jhonatan storming onto the field uninvited would be a lot like how Donovan storms onto the roster uninvited.
