February 9, 201610 yr Yeah, but it's one thing to revert to talking points as all politicians do, and another thing to repeat the same speech verbatim several times in the course of a few minutes. If Rubio wanted to go back to his Obama-bashing rant, fine, but he went back to the same exact speech using the same exact words. It wasn't a talking point, it was a rehearsed speech that had no place in the part of the debate where he placed it. I'll agree with that. I don't think it will hurt him in the poles though. Although I obviously like Rubio I'm a Cruz supporter myself.
February 10, 201610 yr You can possibly kill 2 birds with 1 stone if you enjoy hanging with pastors and priests. OHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
February 10, 201610 yr I would love to hear what makes your god different from anyone else's; modern and historical. I would like for you to emphasize the part where Greeks worshiped Idols and others the sun out of ignorance. Was this because they created gods to explain the world around them because of lack of knowledge? Or because they hadn't heard the "good" word yet? Maybe you are a little ignorant of your own religion. I can't blame you. Studying religion for most people is really boring. The best parts are the parts where you "feel" something and the happy parts. Who wants to be bothered with the tough stuff? In the end religion is all about the believer. Your personal relationship with the most powerful being that has no beginning or end. God helping you, of all people, overcome the challenges in your life. Testing you. Blessing you. Giving you eternal salvation for being a good boy and following rules created by man, but through god. Incredible. Awe inspiring that the creator takes such an interest in you and me. It's almost as if man created religion to justify itself. I won't even get into citing the book where your religion plagiarized other religions to create some sort of recipe book for revenue from the dumb. I'm sure you know that Paul told Greeks that Zeus = God (http://biblehub.com/niv/acts/17.htm). I'm sure you know that the angles, their stories and roles, is almost a 1:1 translation of lesser gods of old. I'm 100% positive you know about Yahweh and Baal, and how Yahweh became the only god through a series of human political moves in the region. Kinda like the primaries where Yahweh defeats Baal to become the #1 god! Sorry Diablo II:LOD fans, Baal isn't only for grinding. Nah. You got it right. Your religion is special and unique (even though entirely composed of other religions dead and alive). This time humanity knows. We aren't ignorant at all. We can ignore all other forms of religion and it's evolution (uh oh! bad word!) having any chance of being right. Hell, let's include them because chances are they are worshiping the same god. There was just a fork in the road somewhere during the story. Why is Christianity correct? Because of the myth of Jesus Christ. The light skinned, toned, blonde son of himself and also the holy spirit and god, himself. Born into the middle east as a white man, hating on himself for forsaking himself, and not using any power but the power of guilt, storytelling, and plagiarism to spread the word of ignorance throughout the land. In the end, I'm not trying to convince you that there isn't a god. I don't think you should become some other label that doesn't believe in god. What I want you to recognize is that objectively, you have no greater chance of being correct about this form of god than any other person that has existed. This includes earth pre 6000 years ago (lol). And that by talking about Christianity and your relationship with christ of outside of christian regions (and time periods), you sound just as dumb/confused/ignorant/wrong as any other person of faith which differs from yours. Whose hotter? Paula Abdul or Jennifer Lopez? I gotta go with Paula!
February 10, 201610 yr Author Whose hotter? Paula Abdul or Jennifer Lopez? I gotta go with Paula! The answer to this question is always Alison Brie, right @Admin
February 10, 201610 yr Can God be our fifth starting pitcher or not? And if so, would he cost us a draft pick?
February 10, 201610 yr Author Can God be our fifth starting pitcher or not? And if so, would he cost us a draft pick? Think we're willing to make the conversion from closer to starter? Last I heard, Jesus saves.
February 10, 201610 yr Can God be our fifth starting pitcher or not? And if so, would he cost us a draft pick? This has nothing to do with Jenny of the blocks or Paula
February 10, 201610 yr This has nothing to do with Jenny of the blocks or Paula Well which of those girls can pitch? I need someone not named Edwin Jackson in the 5th spot desperately!

Thank you for your response. It was very well written and thought through. It was a bit condescending and sarcastic but well written non the less. With that said I do want to clear up a couple of points. When I said that the ancient religions were ignorant, it wasn't because they believed in the wrong God or a different God. It simply means that because of science we know for sure that the Sun is not a God. Because of Science we are a lot less ignorant of many things. Perhaps I didn't explain it as well I could have in my first post. Although it was never my intent to get into a theological discussion on a baseball forum. LOL Also, I never said that my religion (which you assumed because I never said which religion) was better than another religion. I also never said that my religion was the correct religion as opposed to other religions. My only point was that it's silly to classify people as dumb just because they have faith and believe in a higher being. It's called faith because you can't see it or prove it physically. It's simply a spiritual connection and choosing to try and live life a certain way. With that said, I can't prove that there is a God any more than you can prove there isn't one. Again, it all comes down to faith. You choose not to have a religious faith, and I do. It doesn't make you any smarter or dumber. It just makes us different.
