The idea is that he will see more fastballs since he's at the top of the order. Since he windmills on a lot of breaking pitches, this might actually be a decent idea. It should be one that ends quickly if it doesn't work though, can't have a guy getting on base only 30% of the time hitting at the top of the order.

 

 

how did TK ever even get a all up to begin with? His milb #s were consistently terrible. I guess we were pretty bereft at SP in 2012/13

He's a more than adequate #5 starter who has been quite durable. That is valuable. I don't hate him as one of our SPs, but I'd like him a lot more if he wasn't such a big baby all the time

 

 

Tom is a baby and whines about everything and is a millionaire while many others are homeless and have no food. Yeah tommy, real chum.
