May 27, 201610 yr Author They tend to rotate the divisions for interleague play. 2015 it was the AL East, 2016 it will be AL Central, and 2017 is likely to be AL West. There are quirks and exceptions sometimes, but the Marlins are almost certain to be playing the Angels, Astros, Mariners, Rangers, and Athletics.

I was thinking about the quirks and exceptions and thinking the Marlins could also request to play the Indians but then again, they play them this season so the chances of us playing them back to back seasons is not good. Thinking back to 07 though we got lucky to play them that year.

It won't happen if they wear their 97 set, teal was officially retired in undershirts and hats. 1996 was the last year of teal. If you want to see Giancarlo in teal two choices either they do a 1993 throwback or do a photoshop of it.

By the end of 93 they were almost exclusively using the black cap on the road and I think in 95 the teal caps were gone at home as well. Not sure when the vests switched from teal to black under shirts but that could have been 95 as well.
May 28, 201610 yr Doing a quick search of images, turns out the 1995 team did wear the teal undershirts with the vests and the 96 team wore the black undershirts. I did searches for specific players who only played in certain years, I found Quilvio Veras and Terry Pendleton in teal shirts in 95 and Al Leiter with the black shirt in 96. As for caps, looks like the all teal home caps were retired after 95 but the teal road cap with the black brim did still appear at times in 96 as I found Al Leiter wearing it in 96.

But I think you're right on the "official" part of it lasting until 97. Judging by the introduction of the black shirts in 96 though I doubt I'll find a 96 home teal cap pic.
May 28, 201610 yr I miss MVP Baseball Fuckin video game errors.... If Hanley there is wearing a vest then the undershirt is clearly teal, so why does he have a second black undershirt under the teal one? And the shirt showing at the collar should be teal. Also, that teal is way too dark, it's almost green.
