June 2, 201610 yr Right now, 53 games in, the Marlins are tied for 12th place in the NL in runs scored. And tied for 6th place in the NL in runs allowed. Never would have seen that coming, especially not with so many .300+ hitters in the lineup.

June 2, 201610 yr On paper our starting pitching is the teams weakness. But right now the teams biggest problem is scoring runs. It's incredible how game after game we squander all those opportunities with runners on and less than two outs .

June 3, 201610 yr Hitting with RISP is killing us. Just imagine if we had come through consistently with the amount of bases load no out situations we have had this year. Seems like we get the Bases loaded and then our 7-9 hitters come up. Pretty crazy.
