Posted June 22, 20168 yr Discuss Who will be the first moron to complain about Ramos blowing his first save of the year when it inevitably happens?
June 22, 20168 yr I guess its scary to think that he is due. Conley was very good. Would like to see him maintain his fastball velocity a little better.
June 22, 20168 yr the big question is would we have won this stanton was hitting 4th. Easy answer = No

June 22, 20168 yr Also the conley velo thing looks controlled to induce more contact...Jose seemed to be doing something similar yesterday... Marlins FO maybe finally getting through with their philosophy
June 22, 20168 yr Happily take a 2-2 weekend series. We have been on the precipice of either making a run or falling away for so long, it's hard to know which way this team is going. Last 6 weeks seems to be win 2, lose 2, repeat.
June 22, 20168 yr Discuss Who will be the first moron to complain about Ramos blowing his first save of the year when it inevitably happens? its the same heartache that occurs when phelps did the same vs. the braves, the braves, the twins, the mets, the phillies
June 22, 20168 yr the big question is would we have won this stanton was hitting 4th. Easy answer = No Probably not in fact. He is a detriment to the team right now regardless of whatever his WAR is. About the only good thing he's really done is play solid defense. I just have a hard time understanding Stanton. I have played plenty of competitive baseball in my life and as a hitter I just dont understand how he operates. Of course major league pitching is brutal but when you see him strike out like he did last night it looked like he just didnt give a shit and said I am swinging regardless WHEN THE WHOLE WORLD KNOWS THEY WILL TRY AND BURY A SLIDER IN THE DIRT AHEAD IN THE COUNT. And they are going to keep doing it until he consistently shows he won't swing. That is what makes the great hitters like Bonds and Cabrera so good. They force you to throw them something to hit or else they walk.

Marlins FO maybe finally getting through with their philosophy With the slightly lower velocity he was also more in control of his fastball location. It's possible in some earlier spots he's tended to overthrow and he's been more wild. Conley has had two nice starts back to back.

June 23, 20168 yr @Admin Can you do the board a favor and contact the Marlins and complain about why the orange hat is completely forgotten?? Gratitudes.
June 23, 20168 yr @Admin Can you do the board a favor and contact the Marlins and complain about why the orange hat is completely forgotten?? Gratitudes. Admin doesn't know anyone in the Marlins since his father Dan Jennings left. Now if you'd like the nationals to wear an orange cap I'm sure Admin can arrange that.
