Well its funny because [uSER=5078]@pollyvonwog[/uSER] has told me I "missed the point" over and over this year but he seemingly is missing the point. He acts like I believe the team has a good chance to make it, same with some others. When in reality, I said it is unlikely. I don't understand how anyone can dispute its unlikely but possible. Until they are eliminated, that stands. To say its impossible now is nonsense. And if/when the fish are eliminated we will have [uSER=13640]@GablesMarlin[/uSER] and maybe others starting "I told you so" threads when in reality, we admitted it was unlikely.

September 15, 201610 yr paddack for rodney is old news. Capps for cashner + CASH is far far far far far far far mroe egregious and should never be forgotten. Trading a critical member of your team makeup for pure garbage, so you can say "we tried!" and a few million bucks is unbelieveably bad and should not be forgotten or forgiven. It's also a huge reason why I'm especially negative post that trade. You don't trade one of your most exciting players for literally worse than nothing
September 16, 201610 yr It's impossible. I would say its EXTREMELY unlikely. But at least they're still "in it". While hoping for a miracle, I've settled on the Marlins at least achieving a winning record, which would at least be something positive.
September 16, 201610 yr What's the reason for the weird title to this thread? Pythagorean Win-Loss record, based on run differential. Winning Percentage = [(Runs Scored)^2] / [(Runs Scored)^2 + (Runs Allowed)^2] Sometimes they use 1.81 or 1.83 instead of 2 as the exponent [according to bbref].
