April 11, 20179 yr Jerseys are amazing, perfect color scheme, they are sweet. Hr derby caps are nice. Socks and underbrim patterns can dye in a fire though. Feels like a joke. The jerseys and HR derby caps are very Miami Marlins but the socks and underbrims are like a stereotypical Miami, what tourists think Miami is, and it's a bit contradictory to what the Marlins are trying to show Miami as. ASG caps are crap in so many ways that I'd rather not even think too much about it. Not sure if you all saw the other special event stuff. All the socks are horrible. Memorial day caps look super cool for fans but will look like shit on the field. Mothers day and Fathers day stuff I can do without but they're probably as good as they'll ever be. The navy 4th of July caps look amazing, the red ones not so much but yet again they'll look like shit on the field. Bottom line with all this special event merchandise, most are quite good as fan gear but will look like trash on the field. But this is all obvious since the whole point is not for the players to look good, the point is for the players to model/advertise them so that fans can buy them. It sucks but it's the way it is and it'll probably get worse in the coming years.
