February 20, 20188 yr Actually Jeter said they could attend ST as instructors but they didn't like the fact they'd get cut off from the field once the season began. They were used to field and clubhouse access year round. They also didn't appreciate the paycut associated with that cutback in access/work. Yea I knew the paycut stuff but wasn't sure the details of how limited they'd be on the field.
