I commented on Alcantara (and Guzman) being Ureña 2.0 when they traded for him. Nothing has changed. Starting rotation remains a dumpster fire.
June 27, 20188 yr This was always part of the question of the return for Ozuna, who still had a few years of control. Taking the #4 pitching prospect instead of one the higher rated pitchers seemed to be giving in somewhat. Who knows, maybe the staff saw something better but it still was worthy of criticism.

Who knows, maybe the staff saw something better but it still was worthy of criticism. just to clarify I'm not at all disappointed by the prospect of 2 Urena's on the staff. Urena is having a pretty good year if he continues to improve like he has been he will be a very good number 2. If Alcantara can produce a groundball rate like Urena he will be very effective in the show.
