it's a slider not a change but yes, he's incredible. He's a sabremetrics darling too swgstrk rates, FIP etc

I wouldn't say that.  He is still throwing 94 and his change up and curve are pretty good.  Still has good K numbers this season so far.

averaged 94.7 topped out 97.4. Year before averaged 96.2 topped out 99

 

he's currently at 93.2 topping out at 95

His velocity was down last year too. He barely touches 95 if ever. He’s 93-94 and it seems like 95-97 is gone.
