Realistically he probably knows JT is on the way out so all Holaday has to do to make the team is basically be better than Chad Wallach so yeah. I also think Marlins should get SS Richie Martin from Oakland in the Rule 5 Draft. rmc523 Posted November 30, 2018 Share Posted November 30, 2018 I'm up for taking a flier on Hanley on an incentive-laden contract in hopes of flipping him at the deadline.....kinda like a guy who's name I won't say, but it starts with an "S" and ends in "traily". I'll pass on Billy Hamilton, though. He's projected due to earn $6M ish, and we already have 18 of him on the roster - meaning guys that can't hit but play defense. He doesn't hit well in Cincinnati. If you can't hit there.... As painful as it was watching Brinson, I'd rather just stick him out there and let him play over Hamilton.
