The shift doesn't work for shit if they pull it into the seats.

April 4, 20197 yr Given the launch angle revolution, didn't the Marlins announce that one of the ways they would counter would be to pitch higher in the zone to induce pop outs and weak fly balls? Since the shift mainly applies to balls hit on the ground in the infield, doesn't leading the league in shifts go contrary to that aforementioned plan?
