Hes young and when you come off a game like that, let him back out there. The team desperately needs his power. The season just started as well so it wasn’t like he is worn down.
April 8, 20197 yr They could have easily had Alfaro play Sunday and then give Wallach the start Tuesday so that Alfaro gets to play but then gets two days off afterwards. That would prevent the issue of him being too tired. Also, start Alfaro Sunday and just monitor him in the early innings for signs of fatigue and just have Wallach prepared to enter the game if needed. That's what Donnie should have done.
