August 31, 20206 yr San Diego just gave up a lot. Of players. Not so much talent. Cal Quantrill, Josh Naylor, Austin Hedges, Gabriel Arias, Joey Cantillo, Owen Miller Kept a vast majority of their top 10. I don't think they're done dealing, either.
August 31, 20206 yr Considering Cleveland pretty much didn't want Clevinger anymore I think that haul is impressive even if there's no stand outs. The Padres are scary right now though.

The Padres are scary right now though. If Clevinger hadnt lost the trust of his teammates he would have commanded at least one other top 10 prospect from the Padres if even would have been moved! San Diego quite opportunistic here. Bravo to them for using a little of their trade assets to make things happen. That's going to be a scary division between the Dodgers and Padres for a while. Might as well get used to those two teams carrying the water for that division for a while!
