g8trz2003
Wave on Wave is good. Remember When by Alan Jackson, anything Cast Iron Filter. Umm...pretty much any Nickel Creek, Southern Comfort by Buddy Jewell, and Counting Crows. As for old stuff....diggin some more Allman Brothers, the Outlaws, .38 Special, some older Widespread Panic, and James Taylor. Oh yeah, and the ATLiens cd by Outkast, Even in Darkness by Dungeon Family, T.I.'s first cd (MUCH BETTER THAN THAT NEW SH*T), and the old N.E.R.D. cd. Shamrock
I'm starting to get into Eminem. He has some clever lyrics and, after seeing 8 mile for myself, he's not such a bad guy once you get past all the cursing. I tend to favor songs from movies. I'm a big soundtrack freak. I've got Meet Joe Black, Pearl Harbor, The Natural, Angels in the Outfield, the list goes on..... Best soundtracks....O Brother Where Art Thou, Rushmore, Royal Tenenbaums, High Fidelity. savafan
These really aren't the types of songs I usually listen to, but two of my favorite songs right now are Stacy's Mom by Fountains of Wayne, and Scientist by Coldplay.

One of my roomates has Wave on Wave in his cover band routine...Pat Green, Robert Earl Keen, Emmylou Harris, etc are all awesome...also Harry McClintock, Alison Krause, and the Stanely Brothers are awesome...Im getting deep into h****y tonk and bluegrass. The music is so pure.
g8trz2003
wow, Allison Krausse has about the best female voice ive heard in a LONG time. Stanley Bros are good too. Harry McClintock sounds really familiar. Is there a McClintock family or somethin? That Oh Brother soundtrack really is an amazing cd. I got that maybe a year or so ago. Outstanding. My roommate hates it though. He can't stand too much bluegrass. I love it. I got into bluegrass before I got into country. I've been listening to a lot of Ricky Scaggs lately. That song "I Live The Simple Life" is great. Shamrock, I really think you would like Cast Iron Filter.

I dunno, they're kinda my guilty pleasure, musically. They are really, you know, gelled hair, singing kinda...well I dont really know how to describe them....but I like their music...especially their song, "I Melt". I Want To Love You Out Loud is a good one too. And...."These Days" is good too. I Melt is really good though. Buy the cd, and tell me what you think ...maybe I'll get it. The cd Im talkin bout is "Melt".
