Villar just hit a walk-off rbi single against the Phillies

So villar just ended the game with a hit in the 8th inning. Never seen that before, (first of the doubleheader) 8th inning game.

This is why Rojas should be the everyday lead off hitter. I don’t care about Righty-Lefty matchups, it probably wouldn’t make a big difference in the long run, but there’s a chance he’d get on base a whole lot more than Dick from the leadoff position, regardless of who is pitching.

Baseball is so different than even 10 years ago, with all the instant replay, shortened games, new rules about relief pitchers. Imagine someone who gave up watching baseball in 2006, and is just getting back into it, would be confused for the first few games.
