If this team can allocates their runs better they would leading the division now …

Scab move @taiwanmarlin

Not everyone can allocate their runs, especially after eating Taco Bell.

Go Marlins!!

Friday: 10 runs, 2 allowed

Saturday: 11 runs, 1 allowed

Sunday: 0 runs, 2 allowed

Monday: (off)

Tuesday: 1 run, 2 allowed

Wednesday: 1 run, 3 allowed

Thursday: 3 runs, 7 allowed

Friday: 11 runs, 2 allowed

Average of 5.3 runs scored, average of 2.7 runs allowed.

So yeah we'd be 6-1 in the last seven if we just, as @taiwanmarlin says, ALLOCATED OUR RUNS BETTER!

You guys know I’ve had the theory since last year and at this point I’m 100% sure I’m correct. But there’s a unified approach to always look for the off speed pitch and to go the other way that, depending on the pitcher on the mound and what gameplan they decided on that day, either works perfectly or is completely exploited. Hence the feast or famine offense, the late awkward swings on fastballs down the middle of the plate.

Notice Jesus Sánchez and how he’s visibly trying to push balls to left field. Anything up and in he gets destroyed on cause he’s actively looking outside and teams are starting to realize it.  I’m not saying he’s not a good hitter, but I promise you they’ve instructed him to go almost strictly to left field all of a sudden. Yeah, when he guesses right he’s on it, but when you got a dude spitting up and in with 95-97 you’re toast

I'm with you on this - seems like the team is looking off-speed and that would explain a lot earlier being late on 93 middle-middle ...

Should be the other way around - be ready for the fastball and react to the off-speed. Gosh dang it.

well, everyone keeps saying the team has put such an emphasis on the change-up - i guess that philosophy extends to the hitters as well

Marlins +20 run differential is tied for the division run differential lead with the mut

Do our hitters need sticky stuff?
