January 25, 20224 yr Mattingly was another one of those guys that was one of the best players in the game for 4-5 year period, baseball is so much about numbers and due to injuries he wasn't able to hit any of those "magic" numbers, that said I'd put him in before Baines or Edgar Martinez since they didn't hit any of those either
