March 15, 20224 yr Author This should be the median projection, not a best case scenario projection. Some people here are saying that the best case for the Marlins would be around 75 wins. Seems the folks at fangraphs are more bullish then some of the people here. Marlins are still expected to make a few additions to the current roster.

Marlins are still expected to make a few additions to the current roster. 75 to 78 with the current roster seems about right. Up to 84 with a few best-case breakout seasons.

March 15, 20224 yr to be fair, I'm not a giant fan of the fangraphs projections overall. The Pirates for example wont be that good. Neither will the Reds, but I assume this was done prior to their trades the last couple of days.
March 15, 20224 yr Author Based on these projections, the Braves, Brewers, and Dodgers win their respective divisions. Mets, Padres, and Phillies make the playoffs as wild cards. Marlins finish 4 games out of a playoff spot.

Frankly I only see them finishing behind the Phillies with the current roster if Cooper gets hurt again and Anderson continues his struggles / isn't healthy. A lot went wrong last year and the Marlins have made more improvements than the Phillies. I say better than even odds we end up with more wins.
