It could have been worse but Rogers is definitely off.  His location is off and I think it's mental.  He's looking as confused and frustrated on the mound as Brian Anderson was at the plate earlier.

There was a play last year against Colorado where they shifted on I believe Raimel Tapia, and he ended up with the big hit to drive in the winning run. The thing is, Tapia goes the other way like 40% of the time so why the hell were they shifted? Almost like these guys don't even know whether to shift or not and just do it for pretty much everyone.

Speaking of stupid shifts, Miggy goes the other way 30% and pulls 21%. I'll take it though.

Stallings hard hit rate per fangraphs is down to 17.4% coming into the game. It had been mid to low 30s for each of the past 4 seasons with Pittsburgh.

Ironically, his soft hit rate is only up by 2 percent. Medium hit rate is up a lot.
