What's the best vegan dish?

Anyways, the point is that I can definitely agree that any kind of vegan curry is the way to go! I have cooked many times a lentil indian style curry with onions, garlic, ginger, garam masala, paprika, tomato paste, coconut milk etc. Always tastes amazing! Just to note though, depending on how much fiber you normally eat and your digestive function.. Eating a nice big serving of lentils plus those spices can sometimes send you straight to the ol restroom faster than you would expect..

Oh, yes. Be ready for the farty fart farts.

As an aside, I always crack up when I fart near my air purifiers and then the air quality indicator goes from blue to red. At least I know they're working!

Lol, there's a place called Planta in south beach (there are also offshoots called Planta Queen that are in coconut grove, Fort Lauderdale and maybe some other places that are vegan restaurants that recreate meals without meat (i.e. "sushi", bolognese pasta, etc).  I've been a couple of times, and the food is actually pretty tasty, but I will say, I get tired of too much of it.  It's still not the real thing.

The sushi, for example is made with watermelon instead of tuna.  It's quite interesting some of the combos they put together to recreate the original dish.

I love Planta. It's our favorite vegan restaurant for a regular dinner. If you enjoy that sushi, Love Life Cafe (AKA Shido Sushi) has some really nice options. My favorite is the carribean queen roll, with the sweet plaintain on the outside. drool.

We went to L'Atelier recently their plant-based tasting menu, and the flavors were insanely good, even better than Planta, but it's also like 10x the price. The best vegan restaurant I've been to is definitely Eleven Madison in NYC, which is a 3 Michelin Star restaurant that become completely plant-based during the pandemic and still retained their 3 stars. It was epic in every sense.

Yeah, I prefer the real thing/regular sushi, but it's an interesting alternative every once in a while.

I tried this a couple times with ours since they can detect a candle being blown out from across the room in a matter of seconds but I could never get them to detect ass gas. I guess my shit really don't stink after all.

I hear you. Since I don’t eat regular sushi, I’m glad it exists.
