Yea I know, fair point but there are those who make the WS a random viewing based on the teams. By that logic they could do the same for lesser known teams since they probably don't know the players on the popular teams anyways.

Sure, but the more famous teams have more random "fans" than the smaller teams.

Doesn't really help when the media doesn't want to promote it as much either when it's two lower tier / lesser known teams. "Rich Get Richer" type stuff here.
