Aside from the fact that we suck, we've also had some terrible luck. We've had so many soft contact hits agaisnt us already. Add shitty defense and some walks, and that's a receipe for disaster.

Was watching the Cards broadcast this past inning. Jim Edmonds is up in the booth with Chip Caray. Edmonds was making a smug comment about how the Marlins are not going to be winning a lot of games with the pitching they have and Chip Caray responded something like “well to be fair to Skip Schumaker, 4 out of their 5 intended starters are injured it’s tough for any team to win in that situation.”

Was surprised.. I watched Chip for years on Braves broadcasts vs the Marlins and he always would make little subtle and snide remarks towards the Marlins every game. Maybe now that’s he’s a Cards broadcaster and out of the NL East he can be more neutral. 😂 And well he does know a lot about the Marlins players I’ve noticed. I guess from all those years of calling Braves games and seeing them a lot.

That’s the nicer thing about MLB.tv since I don’t live in FL, I can choose to see the broadcasts from either team. I’ll probably just stick to Marlins broadcasts when Tommy Hutton is there and the other games watch the opposing teams. 😂

Only so much of “he threw a change piece” or “that was a slide piece” from Rod Allen I can handle. 😂
