September 19, 20242 yr Conine is slumping a bit. The OPS is down to a .652. But no need to worry. This happens every time he gets promoted. In 2021, in his first year at AA, he struggled at a .689 OPS. When he repeated the level the next year he adjusted. .772 OPS. He started 2023 in AA and had a .864 OPS. When promoted to AAA in 2023, he had .647 OPS, but had a .825 OPS there this year. I think he has a good work ethic. Got it from his dad. When ever he has faced adversity, he has adjusted and thus far he has succeded every time. I think he was the talent to do so in the Big Leagues.
September 19, 20242 yr He is also a great defender, so he will probably give positive value even with the lower batting production during the adjustment period.
