Good luck to Jazz in the playoffs. I'm sure he'll shine in the spotlight in New York. That's what superstars do

Jazz went 0-8 in the 23’ wild card series vs the Phillies.

Fun Fact!

2023 Marlins ...

With Jazz in Lineup: 48-49 [.495] - 80 wins over 162

Without Jazz: 36-29 [.554] - 90 wins over 162

FUCKING SUPERSTAR SHIT, BITCHES

... honestly I think we can close the thread here.

But I'll wait til end of the World Series and be nice.

It was actually Jazz’s replacement Jonathan Davis who for a month put the Marlins on his back with the help of Solar & DLC that year.  If I remember we were 10-15 gms under .500 when he went on the IL.  Then when he returned we were 12 gms over .500

Closing the thread is probably the right move because the burden of truth has already been proven.  His numbers are worse this year than lasts, he’s not playing any better in a different environment and he’s failing while in a contract year.  If was his agent I would bail.

The only year the Marlins did better with Jazz in the lineup was in 2022. We had a checked-out lame-duck manager that year.

He has made almost zero difference with the Yankees. Literally. Their win percentage is almost identical with him than without.

Superstar.
