April 13Apr 13 Mervis for Brujan is an absolute steal. Please stop platooning him. Although Wagaman has had a nice game. Just keep Bride on the bench.

Now the White sox have 2 hits off the Red Sox bullpen and are threatening to take an 8th inning lead.
April 13Apr 13 If this team can go 8-7 in its first 15, pretty amazing stuff. @bender is right on W/L?

April 13Apr 13 Marlins offense is doing well the past 2 days. Some missed opportunities on Friday, but great overall in the series. 18 runs (so far) in 3 games.

Still an upgrade for this lineup though. If he could ever get to be a consistent ballplayer he'd probably slot into the heart of this lineup though.
April 13Apr 13 The offesnse was off to a middling start before this series, but they had played 8 games vs a pair of pretty good pitching staffs in the Mets and Braves. Also, the Pirates have done well in terms of strikeouts.

But way better than some of the guys in the offense right now, so should be an immediate improvement unless he starts in a slump.

Curious, did he not hit lefties in the minors?Outside of 2024, he consistently had better numbers vs righties, but he was still pretty good vs lefties. He was really good vs lefties last year and mediocre vs righties. In the big leagues, despite him playing almost exclusively vs righties this year and playing well while playing poorly against both in Chicago, he still has better numbers vs lefties.
April 13Apr 13 The only thing I can think of is that he feels more comfortable focusing on exclusively preparing to hit righties.
April 13Apr 13 Marlins up big. Phillies and Braves got blown out to lose their series. Hopefully, the roaming A's can beat the Mets to be the cherry on top of the perfect day for the Fish!
April 13Apr 13 just FYI...Jazz OPSing .664 currentlyi wondered why nobody had been saying how great he is lately.....i guess this was why

April 13Apr 13 I really can't say enough nice things about how well this team is playing. They're also very fun to watch. I really didn't expect this. I'll enjoy it while it lasts..
April 13Apr 13 Shout out to Wagaman. We have been giving him crap lately, but he had a phenomenal game today.
