Obviously nobody cares, by the way I think Bellozo is much better than Gillispie but it doesn't matter if they're not trying to win.

Bozo is even worse. He’s an extreme fly ball pitcher with bad pitches that has been extremely lucky

Man I miss lizard. Really didn’t understand that trade at all and still don’t other than saving Shitman $

Simple and clear, they trying to save the money and trying to lose.

Definitely. Trading a hometown player to a division rival for a elite glove ground ball hitting artist (future utility IF) really stings though

If lizard stays healthy (big if), this will be massive miss on Bendix part. Lizard new sweeper looks rly good

The guy they traded lizard for, Caba, ceiling is otto Lopez

This will help when Otto is too "expensive" for Bruce too

Sanoja hit the homer because the ball does not lie. Stowers got screwed in the previous at bat when he had to go into a defensive position after the terrible called strike on pitch 2.

Marlins were literally 8th in the NL in ERA prior to this week. Was it just a bad week or is this who they are?

Javier Sanoja is the player of the game and by default the player of the week because this was our only win this week.

The Marlins who have the worst ERA in the Majors this week will face the Reds tomorrow who scored 24 runs today.

Probably accurate but I'll do the poll anyway.

I should leave Sanoja off by accident

@TheMarlinsProject what’s schoop on Cade Gibson? Looked pretty decent

Gibson is a 27 year old lefty who was a 10th round, old college draft pick. He hardly pitched above A ball before this year. He's done nothing to indicate he's a prospect or even a major leaguer. Kind of shocked he made it to the big leagues to be honest. I guess they figured they could use him for depth and then send him right back down. Rooney or Simpson are the better options but they must be worried they'd get claimed at some point. That or he was just a fresh arm.

Good for him for making the majors, they can't ever take that away from him. I don't see him as a viable part of our future though.

How about Sanoja though. Have yourself a game Snowman!
