Anyone get free MLB TV thru T-Mobile? I tried (I shouldn't have) to sign up to watch the Marlins and they wanted $199, yet I can watch all the Mets, Yankees, A's, Dodgers, Twins I want for free.

How much are you paying to add the marlins with the T-Mobile deal?

So stupid to have blackout rules on a product you need to pay for in a local market that's struggling to keep fans as it is. Can only imagine a ton of kids with this becoming fans of other teams due to the blackout BS.

Also, using stream....i mean a website to watch- the coverage seems the same and great hearing the radio guy- less of a national guy then Paul. Just waiting for Tommy to rip someone.

I got the MLB.TV free code from T-Mobile but to add the Marlins just paid $99 + Tax for the whole season

I'm still pretty confused about all of this. (By the way, I've been following this awesome site for a while but this is my first post). As a DirecTV Choice package customer who lives in the local area, must I still purchase the Marlins.TV package? I called DirecTV yesterday and they told me I'd need to purchase this (from MLB, not from DirecTV) in order to watch the games this season. I was told the opener would be on channel 724 but I could only watch that if I purchased the complete MLB package. So I purchased the MarlinsTV $99 season plan (actually only activating the 7-day trial on MLB to test the water and have time to figure this out once the season started). I was able to watch tonight's game, which actually was on channel 655.

My question is, would I have not been able to watch on ch 655 had I not signed up? I don't want to be paying for something that may already be included in my DirecTV Choice package (which I had long ago upgraded to specifically for Marlins/Panthers). When I signed up for Marlins TV on the MLB app, I assumed I would need to stream the games on my smart tv and devices, but seeing it right there on the DirecTV channel guide is very confusing. The representative I spoke with seemed very unsure himself. I don't even know if I would have to maintain the Choice package, since it now seems pretty useless, unless it is a requirement for being able to watch channel 655.

Thank your for your time and nice to meet all of you,
Dennis

I don’t have cable so I went ahead and signed up for the season package for $99.

Part of what swayed me were several news reports of including a pair of tickets for any game in April if you signed up between March 27-31 or something like that, yet I’ve seen or gotten nothing. Oh well.

overall the streaming went fine, though I did have some issues of it “rewinding” itself and inning or two back during a commercial, so I wound up missing all of our scoring.

The Marlins themselves advertised a pair of April tickets on one of the broadcasts, yet I haven't seen anything yet. Maybe they'll appear in the inbox once the calendar flips?

I have DirecTV streaming service. And "so far" they have a dedicated Marlins channel. I don't how long that will last though.

So I finally got the email last night with a code for the 2 free tickets for signing up. The tickets are for the home run deck area (you can pick the section). I'll be going on the 21st against the Cards.

If anyone else signed up, keep in mind you have to claim the tickets (and book a game) by April 6th I think it was, otherwise the coupon stops working.

The Heat have found a new home on WPLG channel 10: WPLG Local 10 Becomes the Home of the Miami HEAT

Video Report

When are the Marlins gonna get their shit together!🤬 If the Heat and the Panthers can do it, why can't the Marlins?

By the way: The Heat's app is gonna be free. That's another thing the Marlins should do. But I guess the league owns their broadcast rights. Apparently the Heat or WPLG own the Heat's broadcast rights.
