July 21Jul 21 Imai is such an interesting pitcher with that back up slider. He’s either terrible and strikes 10 guys out. Wonder what he does tonight!Would have been cool to see what our pitching lab could have done with him but we’ll never know. Edited July 21Jul 21 by pollythewog
July 22Jul 22 I'm surprised Marsee is still on this roster. I know his defense is very good, but no defense is good enough to overcome a sub .200 BA and near .600 OPS. It'sjust mind boggling. I think this could hurt his development as well because his confidence is shot.

When we were winning, these stupid decisions could be ignored. The stupid lineups, the obsessive platooning, the terrible BP management etc. Now that we're losing terribly, these are all glaring issues.McCullough is a terrible in game manager. I've said it from day one. He has no feel for the game. He's not a big league manager. That said, as good as Bendix is at evaluating talent, a lot of these decisions come from him. The fact that we haven't called up Braxton or found more SP's is on Bendix also. I mean, he signed Paddack and Fairbanks this off season, so there's plenty of blame there.I believe there's plent of talent on this roster and in this organization. Probably the deepest it's ever been. The future is bright. We just need Bendix and McCullough to realize that they don't have to reinvent the wheel at every turn of this game. Stop being micro mangers and let the talent take over. Let the kids play the game. Edited July 22Jul 22 by Rydawg

They have 2 actual starting pitchers, eury and sandy, and an absolute shite bullpen. There’s still Leo jiminez as well.I agree the future is bright, but odds too stacked against then with this many injuries and a complete lack of death at mlb level.
July 22Jul 22 Author When’s the last time a team that is about to lose their 8th game in a row turned a triple play?

July 22Jul 22 Bruce was scared at the thought of actually buying at a deadline, so he's made sure that we have to sell again.
