The reason I like Dickie V is that he provides excitement and he knows what he is talking about. I don't like it when he starts talking about Duke but he makes the point that over the past 15 years or so they have been the best program. Luckily when UNC and Duke play I usually get a Raycom Jefferson Pilot broadcast and not the Dickie V one or else I might him. He gives Carolina props when they are playing. I think he just has an acc "bias" but the acc is the best conference of all time so that is understood as far as i'm concerned.

I really dont watch college basketball but I would have to say I dislike him because he is so biased to college players in the NBA draft that he makes himself look like a fool.

Yea but i think he was right in saying that the pistons should have took Carmelo and not Darko. Dumars is dumb.

Yeah sure hes dumb. First of all no one expected Darko to come in and produce this season. This pick was meant for the future not now, so it will help in the long run not taking anything away from carmelo but you know what your getting with Carmelo a guy who will score and get some rebounds. But Darko has way more upside being 7 feet. As history has shown as of late big men win in the league not guards or in this case a small forward.

Ehh, I mostly tune him out. But I don't mind him.

I got some face time with Dicky V when he did a UNM v UNLV game here a few years ago. I was right behind the booth and made some crazy noise right by his head and he goes, "This is one DYNAMITE fan here Baby, He's leading the charge for the Crazy Crew in Lobo Town!!"
