February 1, 200422 yr check out www.presidentmatch.com do the Q&A section and it'll list the candidates that closest match your beliefs, and it'll give each of them a percentage score to how closely they match the candidate who matches you best on the issues. leave the political affiliation park unchecked so you can compare the candidates in both parties. a VERY cool site! check it out. here's what i got: 1 Dean Score: 100% 2 Bush Score: 98% 3 Clark Score: 97% 4 Kerry Score: 97% 5 Edwards Score: 94% 6 Lieberman Score: 90% 7 Sharpton Score: 81% 8 Kucinich Score: 71% EDIT: i stopped being lazy and distinguished between moderately opposed/favor and strongly opposed/favor. these results look more right to me

February 1, 200422 yr Author But it was close for me. Kerry got 100% (WTF?) and Kucinich got 83%. Weird. the candidate who matches you the most closely gets 100%, and everyone else gets a percentage of his total.

February 1, 200422 yr Author dang you got some high scores Alkazoid. The rest of the canidates on my list all got 70% or less. that's cuz most of them--democrats and republicans--match me about 50% on the issues since i'm middle-of-the-road for the most part. so they're all about the same score for me. the best match is given 100% and everyone else gets a percentage of that, so i'm not surprised that they're all 70% and up.
