February 8, 200422 yr to all those who have purchased season tickets....thanks! Thank you for helping OUR organization... I know the sales guys appreciate it....so on behalf of them, thank you for the support...
February 8, 200422 yr I really was not going to buy the tickets. My hubby wanted to buy them per game. However, we walked up to the 200 level and went inside the Infield Box seats.... We fell in-love with two available seats there... Row 23. I got more than I bargained for. My hubby bought us a 41 weekend game plan that includes... "Opening Day"! Yupi! two 41 weekend game plans = 1 season ticket holder YOOOOOOUUUUUUUU CAN PUT IT ON THE BOARD.....YEEEEESSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!
February 8, 200422 yr dude its not all about sigs, i didnt get any and i still had a nice time. hung out in a great atmosphere that signifies that baseball season is right around the corner and got some cool (free) stuff. Exactly! Who the hell cares for a chicken scratch that only you know it's original anyway??? :confused I would have loved to take pics with the players though... Well maybe some other time. I have a full season ahead of me. Don't get me wrong dispite not getting the autographs I still had a blast and cant wait for the season to start as I am finally a "season ticket holder"(5 20 game saturday plans in fish tank ) But anyway I still had a blast
February 8, 200422 yr I did not get to go with BMan this year as I had other plans, but I will be there next year!!!!
February 8, 200422 yr I wish i could have gone to fanfest but i had baseball practice. I wish i would have least been there for the press conference for I could have asked Beckett how deer hunting went in the offseason. lol
February 8, 200422 yr FanFest 2004: sucked that was so bad anyone who liked that didnt go last yr, when it was empty and there were no bandwagoners there
February 8, 200422 yr FanFest 2004: sucked that was so bad anyone who liked that didnt go last yr, when it was empty and there were no bandwagoners there i went last year, but it was so sweet this year eventhough i didnt get any sigs. this was my first time doing anything marlins related since they won game 6 in NY, it was great walking around enjoying the sights and the fact that there were two, count them TWO trophies in that case compared to one last year.
February 8, 200422 yr Author Well the more fans there is at fanfest the more chances that people will buy season tickets. So I'd rather fanfest be full than empty.
February 8, 200422 yr If they had actually ADVERTISED the 2003 one i would have gone... i think you mean the 2002 one, i had the same problem. i didnt even know they had one for a while that year
February 9, 200422 yr Author Yeah they didnt advertise last years at all. On a side note I regret not trying to ask Beinfest how Castillo was doing and if he has regained his speed after trying to recover from hip surgery last year. Has anyone heard anything on Castillo?

On a side note I regret not trying to ask Beinfest how Castillo was doing and if he has regained his speed after trying to recover from hip surgery last year. Has anyone heard anything on Castillo? Well he says his hip is well rested, and would like to continue to steal, but at a steady rate. He should be comming back from the D.R. soon. Pierre is gonna do most of the grunt running. Thats all i know from my "inside" info LOL
February 9, 200422 yr Last year's was better only because the crowds were smaller and the players were much more accessible (I talked with A.J. Burnett last year by the clubhouse!). Those lines were insane and I was not going to stand there with my three year old daughter to try to get autographs, especially when I can go to Jupiter (only 15 minutes from my house) next Saturday when pitchers and catchers report. The highlight, for me at least, was taking batting practice in the Marlins cages with Lenny Harris giving me hitting pointers. Then we was very gracious posing for a picture with me and my daughter. The highlight for my daughter was going to see "her" seats (Sec. 129, Row 4, Seat 5). My 20-game package is in Sec. 129, Row 4, Seats 4-6.

February 9, 200422 yr Well of course there was going to be a bigger crowd this year. If they hadn't won the World Series, there would not have been that many people showing up.
February 9, 200422 yr Do you think similar results will be at spring training... meaning mobs of people there like at fanfest?
February 9, 200422 yr Yes. I know there will be more people at Spring Training. It might be harder to get signatures this year too.
