I would expect Pudge to get a good reception from the crowd. Fact is even if this is a Florida vs. Florida game the majority of those fans aren't Marlins fans anyway. The few of them that are, are just bandwagon fans who:

 

A) Think Pudge is still a Marlin

B) Blame the Marlins for Pudge not being one

Who cares about pudge anymore.

or the worst of all time.... Carl Lewis.... don't know if you saw that but they showed it on PTI a couple times... it didn't go 10 feet and he threw like a ... it was like he meant to do it.

Yeah, but you're unique, in terms of real fans still liking Pudge. For Pudge to get that kind of reception is why I hate this town. If Pudge pulled of these stunts in anyother city (Philly, Chicago, etc.) these stunts being play for your home team when no one else wants you, a financially strapped team dishing out 10 million, stinking up the joint til July, then becoming the hero of the community only to turn your back on the city for an extra million or two to go to the worst team in history is pretty lame. If he did that stuff in a real sports town, he'd get his ass chased away from a local sporting event. Instead we give him a lame ovation? :thumbdown
