geemoney
In the commercial for 10 greatest matches, they show the Iron Sheik winning the gimmick battle royal a few years back. On one hand, I hope they show it because I would REALLY like to see it (it's only, like 4 minutes), but on the other hand, it doesn't deserve to be in the top 10 matches category. Buckeye
I believe Macho/Steamboat is on that show. And if I remember correctly, Macho at the beginning of the match jumps out of the ring, climbs under the ring, and as Steamboat is on the ropes looking down and motioning under the ring, Macho comes out the back, slides in and sneak attacks Steamboat. A CLASSIC!

Buckeye
I liked both the Slammy's and the Raw 10th Anniversary show. The Slammy's were good because it was fifty percent in-character and fifty percent real. Looking back, it's the first time you could tell Shawn and Bret really hated each other (Michaels accepted his Slammy for the Iron Man match and his speech consisted of him talking about how he won the match, with interspersed shots of Bret looking really p.o.ed and Michaels kept rubbing it in; and yes, wrestling is fake, but if you know Bret and Shawn neither one ever wanted to lose to the other). The Raw 10th Anniversary show consisted of 1. a classic Hollywood Rock promo, via Satellite (where he broke out "The Kurt Angle Suck Squad" on Team Angle) and an Angle promo where Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin held the flag up behind him while the dude pretended to get all teary-eyed and cut a funny promo. AWESOME! :thumbup
geemoney
The reason the RAW 10th anniversary show sucked was because the WWE kept promising EVERY WEEK that surprise stars from the past would show up at the Anniversary and NOT ONE PERSON in terms of a "surprise from the past" showed up. The whole thing seemed like one big pat on the back for the WWE, and it left a sour taste in a lot of people's mouths. Not to mention some of the winners of certain categories seemed a bit fishy.... JBurque
I just hope they shoe HH body slam Andre the Giant. One of my favorite moments ever.
Rebirth
They gotta show the ladder match from WM X betwen HBK and Razor Ramon. I liked both the Slammy's and the Raw 10th Anniversary show. I also like them. I think Owen Hart (RIP) won one and stole one the following year. He treasured them, he brought it everywhere he went. Buckeye
YES! The "Two Time Slammy Award Winner" Owen Hart. He won the Slammy for "Best Dropkick" and stole the one for best match (from his brother, Bret, for his Mania match against him). That gimmick ruled! My favorite 'Mania match has to be the second Rock/Hogan (from a wrestling standpoint) and Rock/Hogan which I personally think of as the greatest of all time. Rock/Hogan was the best match because I remember jumping up and down and screaming the whole match. And I remember Hugg was rooting for Hogan and I was rooting for Rock and it was flat out classic. I remember AFTER the show, staying at Matt's house to see it again (he taped it the second time and forced his dad and various other non-wrestling fans to watch it). I personally think Rock/Hogan was just as over as Warrior/Hogan. Plus, Warrior sucks! Dude changed his name LEGALLY to "THE Ultimate Warrior." Dude's first name is THE. Loser. But yeah, his match with Hogan was good, but I'd put it behind Rock/Hogan and/or the Iron Man. Come to think of it, the only main eventer in the WWE who doesn't have a classic match at 'Mania is HHH (Benoit/Jericho/Angle triple threat was awesome, Angle/Lesnar was darn good, and Eddie doesn't count since he's a new main eventer). I guess HHH/Taker was good, but not a classic. And Triple H/Booker straight sucked. Anyone honestly think Triple H is jobbing? I don't... Which means the show will suck. Ending a 'Mania with that dude posing with the belt, AGAIN. Awesome... :thumbdown

Ending a 'Mania with that dude posing with the belt, AGAIN. Awesome... :thumbdown I think Trips will drop the strap to Benoit, then beat him in Canada next month at the RAW PPV (we all know Vince likes to screw the Canadian fans). If Benoit DOES win the title, you can bet it'll be by pinning Michaels, NOT Triple H. But if it's the opposite (Trips wins, the drops the belt next month), I won't be surprised.
