Well and how many weren't?Who would of thought last year team even had a chance except for us die hard fans.I think he has WQAM highest rated show below Neil.
March 10, 200422 yr He is the most entertaining host WQAM has by far. IMO Not saying much..... And he has an extreme talent for relating any call in question, no matter about what topic, back to football. Quite amusing if it wasn't happening in May or June.

March 10, 200422 yr If WQAM wants to remain a sports station, they need to dump Rogers and forget about putting Stern on air. On Rogers' show, they don't screen his calls, just so he can hang up on people. Goldberg seems to only want to talk about the Dolphins, with the occasional comment on the Marlins, usually coming from another guy on his show.
March 10, 200422 yr Ha! I knew Cape & I agreed about something. I agree that Mandich isn't rude to callers, he just has nothing interesting to offer outside of Dolphin talk. I don't expect ex-ballplayers to be Rhodes Scholars, but jeez... The rest of WQAM's host lineup blows: 1. Howard David = F. unentertaining old buffoon. dolphin talk only. 2. Steve Goldstein = B-. actually willing to talk any sport but is forced to be Howard David's b***h on the show. 3. Joe Rose = C. Joe's good, but has what, 20 minutes of air time stretched out over 2 hours of commercials? 4. Jim Mandich = D. I actually like Mandich on TV & doing Fins games. In short doses he's fine, but the man has ZERO of interest to talk about other than Dolphins. He ain't built for sports talk radio. 5. Hank Goldberg = D. Dolphins only. Knows zero hockey, & clearly hates the Marlins. Kisses Pat Riley's asss from time to time, that's it. 6. Orlando "Big O" Alzuegery = D. Dolphins-only, rips the Marlins at every opportunity until it became popular late last year. i'll never forget the rip job he did on the ownership DURING MARLINS FREAKING FANFEST in 2003. 7. Ed Kaplan = C+. I like Ed & listen to him because he's the only one who will talk baseball, but he talks so much gambling on his show I can barely stay awake. I like Neil because (obviously) he's a liberal, and he's funny (IMO). The guy's practically a legend down here. Don't hold your breath GM, he's not going anywhere. ....clearly the answer here is that I listen to the dammed radio too much.... :banghead
March 10, 200422 yr Hot Corner, I agree with you on all your reviews of on air personnel, especially of Orlando this guy is an idiot my six year old knows more about Baseball than this guy. However, this issue with talking about the dolphins goes into the local TV stations sports announcers that is why for radio I went got myself a satellite radio to get not only music stations but real sports talk shows. As far as local TV if I want to watch sports news I put ESPN or ESPN News why waste my time with our local sports reports.
