  1. When I snapped my clavicle in half, I also fractured five ribs on the same side. So, yes, I know his pain. If you’ve never fractured a rib, you won’t know what I’m talking about.
  2. Get well soon. Snapped my clavicle in half in May so I feel your pain. I hadn’t heard the Ray Hudson news. Love it!
  3. Michael, what does that have to do with the return that Miami got from the Brewers?
  4. I agreed with everything you said until this part. Amazing club friendly contract. You don’t have to trade someone because they’re having a hissy fit. They’ll get over it on a few weeks. As it stands now, the Yelich trade is a RAGING dumpster fire, sir.
  5. I do $10 no-blockie up the street. I actually get out of Little Havana faster that way.
  6. I barely got 4 tickets during the pre-sale the day before they went on sale to the general public. I believe the pre-sale code was PRESALE. The stadium is 15 minutes from my house. Robles is a great goalie. Pizarro is a special player. He will provide some real nice highlight clips this year.
  7. Wish we had guys like that #HadTo
  8. Yes losing 1-0 on the road against a very good team was respectable.
  9. March 14 at 2:30 PM in Ft. Lauderdale I’ll be in Sec 113 LETS GOOOOOOO
  10. Funny how most “hacks” happen on a Friday or Saturday night (the same night that people drink the most alcohol). Love Jazz, though.
  11. He’ll (or the Marlins) will regret the F-Bomb (regardless of the circumstances). He has a lot of young baseball fans who follow him.
  12. Thought I’d share a story you don’t hear every day. Took my sons to Marlins @ Astros this past Tuesday in West Palm Beach. In between innings while the Astros outfielders were warming up, the CF inadvertently threw the ball over Kyle Tucker’s head (Tucker was playing RF). The ball rolled to the area right in front of where we were sitting (we had Field Box seats on the 1st base line but more toward the outfield). Tucker ran toward us to retrieve the ball. He picked up the ball, looked at us (we were all wearing Marlins gear) and asked us if we wanted the baseball. Of course we d
  13. Can’t wait. USA vs Colombia at Marlins Park was amazing!
  14. https://www.fangraphs.com/standings/playoff-odds
  15. Fangraphs gives the Marlins a 0.1% chance of winning the NL East.
  16. Word. Comcast is garbage. But you’re dreaming if you think Amazon has your best interest (or America as a whole for that matter) in mind.
  17. The prospect of having to have an Amazon Prime subscription (or any Amazon subscription for that matter) to watch Marlins games is frightening
  18. Fish add cook. Decide they want to end it all.
  19. If the Marlins win 20 more games than they’re projected to (which would be 28 more wins than they had in 2019) they STILL wouldn’t make the 2020 playoffs. After much thought and consideration, I hereby declare the article linked in the first post as really dumb.
  20. I don’t agree on the “easy” part. 65 wins would be a EIGHT win improvement. That’s quite substantial and not that much has changed. No Chen will add 2 wins and Villar/Dickerson will get us 3-4 wins but I see Caleb Smith regressing. Eight wins is a big jump. Also, NL East. That being said, I think the 2021 team has a real shot at 81 wins.
  21. Puig would have been a sexier signing but Wins-wise, the Marlins are no worse off with Dickerson.
  22. https://blogs.fangraphs.com/top-40-prospects-miami-marlins/ RIP Victor Victor Mesa
  23. We have a boring team. Puig would make the team less boring. Sure, he’s going to do real dumb stuff like stand in the box for 3 seconds after hitting the ball but I’d be happy if they signed him to a 3 year deal. He’s totally capable of having a 3 WAR 2020.
